Dance Off!

I’m slow today.  Football is distracting me.  Hell, blame Nevin for never getting his art done in a timely fashion.  YOU HEAR ME NEVIN?  CALLING YOU OUT?

Anywho.  New pictures.  Pretty.  Click to embiggen!

Beating Families

I don’t know how in a half-dozen “Beatnik Bloodsport” and “Family Fires” comics I’ve never used the phrase “Beating Families”.  I’m glad I’ve now addressed the issue.

I’ve damn near given up on the concept of a vote-off eliminating one of these comics… and further accepted that quality will fluctuate because of this.  This week, however, I’m a believer in both products.  Nevin’s art is getting more standardized, and the punchlines have a bit more punch.

Damn younger brother

Nevin was slow in getting me the art.

But you still get your double dose of Saturday comics.

A Fifth Helping of CHOICE!

Well, we still have a grand total of two votes split as to whether “Family Fires” or “Beatnik Bloodsport” will survive.  Five weeks and two votes.  I’ve given up hopes that this will someday be decided.  I hate you all.  Oh, here are some pictures:

The Ongoing Debate

Our president has been decided, but the real choice that you have yet to vote on is the ongoing war between “Family Fires” and “Beatnik Bloodsport”!  So far there has been exactly ONE VOTE cast for EACH for a GRAND TOTAL of TWO VOTES.

The battle is epic, and it rages on.  All you need do is comment below, and you may consider your vote CAST.

Now, in a stunning move, today’s comic is reactionary– meaning we have our first follow-up comic; both for “Beatnik” and “Family”.  See the originals here.

Week Three of Me Hating You.

No decisions have been made as to whether my collaboration with my sibling is following the path of “Family Fires” or “Beatnik Bloodsport”– a decision I kindly enough was leaving to all of our lovely readers.  But you guys (and girls) are Jerkasaurus Rexes, and won’t just speak below in the comments… or at least you haven’t for the past two weeks.

Here’s two for today.  Maybe somebody will finally pipe up as to which of the two directions is more amusing.  Again, until our lame webmaster gets his butt moving on the layout, you’ll have to click to embiggen.  Sorry.

New Comic: October 25, 2008– “*$!%!”: “*%#&^!!!”

There is an alternate universe where last week’s “Choose the Webcomic of the Future” was wildly successful, striking debate far and wide as tho which comic would be backed as the people’s choice of sweet webcomicy goodness.

But in this Universe it seemed nobody cared too much.  Which is why we were nice enough to give you the choice all over again.  Click the pics to “embiggen”:

New Comic 10/19/08, ?!?!?: “?!?!??!?!”

I’ve been pretty excited about this whole webcomic launch thing.  As I said the first day, we don’t expect everyone to like all of these, but as we plug along on them we are sure of having a little bit of somethin’ for everyone.  Personally, my favorite comic is tomorrow’s launch “Technicality”– it has this pitch-perfect mix of classic cartoon strip mixed with current day goodness.  Today’s entry though… well, I’ve got a dilemma.
