I’ve begun fiddling more and more with “Technicality”. My co-authors don’t really seem to notice– actually, as far as I know, only one of them even read last week’s strip… he sent me a, “Hey, maybe you should go back to following the outline” but then didn’t bother checking up on said issue, so my artist tendencies (the ones that tell me I am an artist, and I’m hip and edgy with all sorts of hip / edgy bullshit that no one can understand).
Anywho, the art this week is a little different. I’m going a little broader right now. I figure it’ll be awhile before I “find” what this strip is supposed to be. Hell, maybe one of my co-authors will chime in some about these things… maybe.
Anyways, you can click to make bigger:

That’s right. Static has feet. Also, I think mispelling things is really funny.
I’ve started wondering what sort of unusual vacuum it is I’m posting in. I’m not even sure if my co-authors are still reading the site. It’s like a drowning quicksand… there is no logic… no REASON for what happens.
This is the final “predetermined” strip of Technicality. The last one made as a backlog prior to posting. It bookends rather nicely with the first strip. Bookending… a totality of “everything” for such a short life…. a reminder that nothing lasts– such as Moriarty’s run at Ain’t it Cool.

STRIDEX here. Like the rest of you, I’m waiting for the Dr. Pepper website to load. So, while we wait together, let us focus on other shared experiences… like that of ducking work at work:

Good times. And very relevant TO the times. You know your coworkers are going to be slacking all week long with the onset of Turkey Day.
Also, because I’m still jacked up, if you’re still waiting for that Dr. Pepper website to load, read about another thing that crashed the internet yesterday.
Monday morning, STRIDEX here, to give you folks some techie cheer.
Or is it dread, pain, and loss, the feeling brought by a Luddite boss?
Coworkers whining in ignorance, completely lacking common sense;
Never polite and always rude, treating you only with attitude.
Luckily the TOWEL is up, to share with you and your mornin’ cup,
So click below for Static and Omarr, and maybe this week we can both go far.

Good gorram morning. STRIDEX here, and I’m freakin’ tired. For most of you this is the beginning of the week– for me it’s the end. And let me tell you, I’m ready to get the hell out of the workplace. Why? Because it’s filled with stupid, stupid people… just like we show you in this week’s “Technicality”: Continue reading ‘New Comic 11/09/2008, Technicality: “This Old Thing”’
Stridex here, welcoming you to the third week of everyone’s favorite tech comic that they didn’t even know existed, “Technicality”. The first and second comics gave us some time with our two leads, Static and Omarr– but now we find out what happens when a a technician disappears for awhile…

Good day to you, readers of the TOWEL! It’s STRIDEX, here to give you your Monday morning webcomic goodness!

STRIDEX here. As was earlier alluded to, today is my happy day. This is the webcomic, out of all five of the launches that I personally get the biggest warm fuzzy over. Not that tomorrow’s comic isn’t special (wait until you see how big, awesome, and well drawn it is). But today’s is the sort of thing that you would find in a newspaper… if newspapers suddenly became cool.
What follows is the story of a man thrown into an unloving workforce of Luddites, where he alone stands giving out the technological goodness. It is a strip of anguish, of frustration, and of oblivion.
