Do I really need an iPhone? Really?

To iPhone, or not to iPhone: that is the question:
Whether ’tis nobler in the mind to suffer
The slings and arrows of outrageous coverage charges,
Or to take arms against a sea of unlimited internets,
And by opposing resist them? To browse: to search;
No more; and by a search to say we meander
The internet and the thousand natural shocks
That data is heir to, ’tis a upgrade
Devoutly to be wish’d. To browse, to search;
To search: perchance to find: ay, there’s the rub;
For in that unlimited search what dreams may come
When we have found those perfect apps,
Must give us pause: there’s the consideration
That makes calamity the lack of iPhone;
For who would bear the whips and scorns of no access,
The oppressor’s wrong, the cheap man’s phone service,
The pangs of despised features, the 2g network’s delay,
The insolence of poor browsing capability and the spurns
That patient merit of the simple phone service takes,
When he himself might his quietus make
With a simple application? Who would overages bear,
To grunt and sweat under an inferior plan,
But that the dread of something more costly,
The undiscover’d charges from whose bourn
No consumer returns, puzzles the will
And makes us rather bear those plans we have
Than fly to others that we know not of?
Thus economy does make cowards of us all;
And thus the native hue of consumer faithfulness
Is sicklied o’er with the pale cast of cheapskate-ism,
And enterprises of great pith and moment
With this regard their currents turn awry,
And lose the name of upgrade.

CHOICE #5: A Fifth Helping of CHOICE!

Well, we still have a grand total of two votes split as to whether “Family Fires” or “Beatnik Bloodsport” will survive.  Five weeks and two votes.  I’ve given up hopes that this will someday be decided.  I hate you all.  Oh, here are some pictures:

I don’t know why, but I really freakin’ like this picture.

Remember, there are five (count ‘em, FIVE) webcomics available on this site, each occurring once weekly.  I continue to promise that should one of them become “popular” (as in, more than 2000 people look at it regularly and somebody says SOMETHING in the comments every once in awhile), we will attempt to expand the publishing of said comic.

CHOICE #4: The Ongoing Debate

Our president has been decided, but the real choice that you have yet to vote on is the ongoing war between “Family Fires” and “Beatnik Bloodsport”!  So far there has been exactly ONE VOTE cast for EACH for a GRAND TOTAL of TWO VOTES.

The battle is epic, and it rages on.  All you need do is comment below, and you may consider your vote CAST.

Now, in a stunning move, today’s comic is reactionary– meaning we have our first follow-up comic; both for “Beatnik” and “Family”.  See the originals here.

As is the norm, you must click to make bigger; but on a plus note, our webmaster says he is closing in on a new publishing format to accommodate our webcomicy goodness.

So, that’s that.  Again, your vote may be what gives us a solid direction.  A plan, if you will.  Speaking of plans, both “Comics by Committee” and “Technicality” are gathering steam across the ol’ series of tubes, but “Mediocre” and “Major Excellent” are still a little short on the views.  I realize that the “Snoopy” to the “Peanuts” of Mediocre just showed up, so it should just now start getting traction, but I cannot for the life of me understand why everyone in the world is clawing for more Major Excellent.  I would have to say it’s one of the funniest ongoing “full page” strips currently on the market.  I’d love to remind all of you that if you ask, it will happen– support our babies via coming back for more (add an RSS!) and we swear on all things holy that you’ll see an increase in production.  Right now there are two days of the week that we don’t give you brand-spankin’-new comics, and those days could be filled by a second helping of any of the other five– if only you’d tell us you loved us.  Hell, you can tell us you hate us too!  We just want to know that someone is watching…other than our mothers.

CHOICE #3: Week Three of Me Hating You

No decisions have been made as to whether my collaboration with my sibling is following the path of “Family Fires” or “Beatnik Bloodsport”– a decision I kindly enough was leaving to all of our lovely readers.  But you guys (and girls) are Jerkasaurus Rexes, and won’t just speak below in the comments… or at least you haven’t for the past two weeks.

Here’s two for today.  Maybe somebody will finally pipe up as to which of the two directions is more amusing.  Again, until our lame webmaster gets his butt moving on the layout, you’ll have to click to embiggen.  Sorry.

Any clear winner?  Pipe up below!  Further inform your decision by checking out the first and second “versus” in this indecisive series.

One final note– we’ve just started up Project Wonderful, meaning that we are now officially on our way to “Awesome”.  And that’s with a captial “A”.

CHOICE #2: *%#&^!!!

There is an alternate universe where last week’s “Choose the Webcomic of the Future” was wildly successful, striking debate far and wide as tho which comic would be backed as the people’s choice of sweet webcomicy goodness.

But in this Universe it seemed nobody cared too much.  Which is why we were nice enough to give you the choice all over again:

1) “Family Fires”

drugs

2) “Beatnik Bloodsport”

frogsandinvisibleshitbeatnik

So.  There’s a new way to fuel the choice.  Which direction do we go?  ONLY YOU CAN DECIDE (unless you continue to not decide)!
